Steve Davis Story

A mother's harrowing journey in search of justice.

This is the story of an ordinary woman whose grief - and love - for her only son compelled her to do something extraordinary.

When Margaret Davis's beloved son Steven was murdered in the Philippines, where he lived with his wife, a former prostitute, and their two children, Margaret travelled across continents to track down her son's killers and rescue her grandchildren.

FOR THE LOVE OF MY SON is the horrifying but utterly compelling story of her perilous journey, but also of how she has dealt with her crippling grief and has striven to save two small children caught up in the violent crossfire of their parent's failing marriage.

It's a tale of two cultures that clashed, with terrible results. And it's a tale of how one mother, faced with her worst nightmare, has fought for justice for her sonand some kind of healing for herself and the others left behind after his death.

As a summary of this book. The late Steve Davis was my mentor. I have worked with him for almost 3 years before he was murdered in Makati Philippines on July 17th 2002.

If you are interested you can get a copy of the book at Amazon

You can view here pictures of his children who is now leaving in Grenada, Spain with Steve's Parents Alan and Margaret Davis.

I have a copy of the documentary video (dvd format). It was available in youtube but was removed due to copy right infringement issues.
